TabTrade Broker Review - A Look at This New CFD Broker
Tab Trade — The Short Version
TabTrade launched in Q1 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. The guy behind it is Benjamin Boulter. Before this, he was in leadership at BlackBull Markets, the well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection tells you something. It means the leadership knows how a proper broker operates. Does not mean TabTrade is the same as BlackBull. But preferable to someone with no brokerage experience.
They launched with Equinix data centre access in London. Same facilities institutional desks use. Most new brokers focuses on ads and sign-up promos. Tab Trade went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
Market coverage: forex, stock indices, metals, oil, energies, softs, equities, cryptocurrencies, ETFs. 1,000+. For something that launched in March 2026, the breadth is broad.
What You Trade On
They offer: MT5, cTrader by Spotware, and a WebTrader. Both platforms from one account. Most brokers commit to either MT5 or cTrader. Access to both makes a difference. Pick what suits your style.
MetaTrader 5 is the industry standard. Full charting, automated trading, huge user base. If you have traded on MT4 or MT5 before, you know exactly what you are getting.
cTrader is the more modern one. Better depth of market. Faster charting. Native automated trading. A lot of traders like it better than MT5 after comparing.
Direct FIX connectivity is there for bots but needs the VIP account ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That will round things out when it lands.
What You Pay
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spread starts at 1.0 pips. Commission-free. Simple. Zero deposit requirement. Good for people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. True raw pricing from 0.0 pips on average. Commission of $3.50 each way. All-in: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On EUR/USD, the actual interbank spread is often a fraction of a pip. So your all-in cost can be below 0.5 pips. That is good for an offshore broker. Most brokers that run raw pricing at this level want $500 or more to open. This broker does not.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, execution under 20ms, negotiated fees. Not for the average person. Do not worry about it unless you run serious volume.
How Fast Are the Fills
The speed is where Tab Trade stands apart. Equinix servers in London. Execution below 30 milliseconds on Edge. Sub-20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. Most retail brokers quote a much wider range.
Does it matter? For short-term trading, absolutely. The difference between fast execution and sluggish execution is the difference between. If you swing trade, it matters less. The point is they invested in proper execution. That signals they are not cutting corners on the tech.
Combine that execution speed with raw spreads at $3.50 per side and what you get makes sense. Few brokers at this price point offer execution like this.
The FSRA Question
Now, the thing that requires honesty. Tab Trade is regulated by Saint Lucia's FSRA. That is tier-3. No ASIC. No government-backed safety net. If the lack of tier-1 regulation is a problem for you, look elsewhere. Lots of FCA-regulated options out there.
However. Benjamin Boulter spent years at BlackBull Markets, an FMA-regulated broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in Equinix connectivity. That does not guarantee anything. It should factor into your decision.
The trade-off: you give up tier-1 protection. What you get instead: 1:1000 leverage, cheap spreads, $0 to start, Equinix execution. Whether this deal works is your call.
The Bonus
Tab Trade has a welcome bonus of up to two thousand dollars. Standard welcome offer. You fund your account, the broker top up your balance. Standard terms apply: turnover conditions before you can withdraw the bonus. Read the conditions before you deposit.
